Sunday Best is Back!

Gussie up to get down. Sunday Best—the easy-going, late afternoon, backyard barbecue cum dance party—is back for the summer of 2009. Every Sunday from May 24 to September 6 at BKLYN Yard, a leafy waterside lot on the Gowanus Canal, we’re serving up tacos on fresh-made tortillas (via the Red Hook Ballfields) with cold sangria and beers while resident DJs JUSTIN CARTER, EAMON HARKIN and DOUG SINGER play alongside some of the finest DJs to ever take on a back yard.

Special guests...

May 24 - QUENTIN HARRIS, the master of soulful house
May 31 - MR. SCRUFF, a UK-based illustrator, tea vendor and eclectic DJ
June 7 - LUKE SOLOMON, Rekids and Cajual producer
